The weather was clear with good breeze in the morning, and tapering off in the afternoon. White caps were observed in the morning with gust up to 18 MPH. The racing started at 0930, and a total of 8 A division and 6 B division races were completed. The top ranking schools at the end of Saturday are: 1 - Norfolk Academy: 2 - Nansemond Suffolk AC: 3 - Archbishop Spalding. The top three finishes in A Division are: 1 - Norfolk Academy: 2 - Nansemond Suffolk AC: 3 - Archbishop Spalding and the top three finishes in B Division are: 1 - Norfolk Academy: 2 - Barrington High School: 3 - Nansemond Suffolk Academy. There is one protest, that will be held Sunday morning.
Another beautiful sunny day with winds building all day from the North to NE. By 1:00 PM there were 1 ft seas with wind at 20 MPH.
Thirteen races in each of A and B Division were accomplished during the regatta. The top three finishes for the regatta are: 1 - Nansemond Suffolk, 2 - Norfolk Academy, 3 - Christian Brothers. The top three finishes for A Division are: 1 - Nansemond Suffolk, 2 - Norfolk Academy, 3 - Archbishop Spalding and the top 3 finishers in B Division are: 1 - Norfolk Academy, 2 - Donovan Catholic High School, 3 - Nansemond Suffolk Academy.
