Regatta began with an unsettled 3-5 knots from NW, filling in around 1:30pm to about 12 knots from the WNW. Great conditions led everyone to agree to finish the event in one day! Three round robins for the entire fleet advanced Mater Dei, Point Loma, Corona Del Mar and Newport Harbor to a double final-four. 42 races (completed JUST before the sun went down!) were run by PYSF coaches and sailors, along with PRO Molly Vandemoer. The racing was overseen by a great umpire team of Rob Overton, Bryan McDonald, John Vandemoer, Ty Ingram and Brent Draney. Thank you to everyone for a great day of racing! Congrats to Mater Dei and Point Loma for advancing to the Baker Team Race Nationals May 20-22 at Lakewood YC in Seabrook, Texas! Good luck!!!!!
