The Saturday for Illinois State Championships was a great success thanks to the many teams that participated. Special thanks to coaches A.J. Brown, Tommy Holmberg, and Sean Wilson for helping set up and assisting Race Committee. Despite some chop an slightly higher wind conditions than expected, the teams were able to get through 7 rotations. At the end of the day, defending Champs UC Lab came out on top. Congratulations to Lab, and all the other schools for sailing at Sheridan Shore for a great 1 day regatta. Also, thanks to the Wilmette Harbor Club for offering up their facilities to coaches, parents, and sailors.
