MDISA SCC Team Race

Nice breeze greeted us on the St. Mary's River and a Digital N was set promptly. Racing began approximately 10:00am. Oscillating N winds eventually led to the wind dying and returning from the south prompting a course reset around 1:00pm. From there, racing continued until 3:45 when it was determined a dead patch would not allow any more starts before the cutoff time of 4:00pm. A full round robin was sailed along with most of a final four to seal the podium for the day. Congrats to Severn, Spalding, and Broadneck for taking 1st, 2nd, and 3rd respectively. Thanks to Travis Carlisle from SSA for umpiring all day, and to the many volunteers on race committee and finish boat including PRO Troy Abbott and RC boat providers Jon & Cindy Stevenson and Jen & Doug Engel.
