MISSA Central League Mallory qualifier got off to an exciting start on the first day with a touch of sun and a SE breeze at about 10 to 12 knots sending 12 teams out into a moderate chop. Throughout the day, the clouds moved in, the rain fell, and there were some slight snowflakes. We finished the day only completing four A sets and three B sets, as the breeze began to die on us as it turned west.
The second day brought some pretty good conditions early on, but as the morning turned into afternoon, fog rolled in, and the race committee had to adjusted by changing the course for the benefit and safety of the sailors. We finished the day with some sunshine and completed 9 A sets and 9 B sets. Congratulations to the eight teams who made it to the Mallory Finals on April 23rd and 24th. A big thanks to the race committee and volunteers who helped make the weekend a success
