Twelve schools, making up 18 teams, completed six races on the sixth week of the NJISA Spring Series. The breeze was light from the northeast to begin the afternoon, before shifting farther east and picking up to a nicer 5 to 7 knots. Ultimately, the wind went back left and lightened up for the final races.
Christian Brothers Academy's team one was the comfortable winner on the day, winning four of six races. Southern Regional, Toms River North, Biotechnology, and Donovan Catholic were second through fifth. CBA's team three of Bryce Vitiello and Luke Pennisi won A Division, while CBA's team one of Colin Guerrera and Kyle Lombardino topped B Division.
Thanks to Dave Magno for running the races and CBA's Jason Lutz for serving as mark boat. Thanks as always to TRYC and the BBYRA for supplying the facility and fleet.
