NWISA Combined Division Bronze

Summary

Saturday, March 26:

Unfortunately no races were held on Saturday for the Combined Division Regatta. The weather featured warm weather with occasional sprinkles of rain, glassy conditions, and micro puffs of wind from all directions. Racing was called off at 2pm after boats sat on the lake for an hour waiting for wind to build.

Sunday, March 27:

Sunday of the Combined Division Regatta featured a no wind morning, during which Olympia Community Sailing's Executive Director, Sarah Hanavan, gave a talk on team racing to those new to the format, while The Sailing Foundation's Andrew Nelson gave a talk on advanced starts to the more advanced sailors. Following both of these lessons sailors got out on the water as the wind began picking up. High Schoolers sailed two races per fleet before the last signal time arrived.

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
