NYISA-SE All Girls Qualifier

Summary

Wednesday, April 27:

Regatta Report for the event today from the RC.

Low 50s, spotty sunshine. Low tide was at 4pm and our first race started shortly afterwards. NW breeze ranged from 8 to 26 plus.

We had 8 boats representing 5 schools. We ran three races. Coaches huddled up before launching and agreed to use mast floats on the boats to help keep masts out of the mud. We had a few breakdowns but sailors powered through the day and sailed very well. Big thanks to the coaches and safety boat teams for helping sailors be reconnected with their boats, avoid some of the obstacles and fix some breakdowns.

Big thanks for the Mamaroneck team for sharing their hot chocolate with everyone after sailing! Thank you Kevin Broome, Rye High and American for hosting.

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
