The NYISA-SE NY State Championship regatta was a long slow day of waiting while staying out of the sun on the state fishing pier. There was just a glimpse of breeze out of the east fighting a northerly all day. Finally around 4pm the southerly turned on and racing began. There were some close races with Stony Brook, Rye Country Day, and Rye High. Congrats to Stony Brook on the win and thank you very much to John Brendel and his team at the Waterfront Center
