The SAISA Brunswick Open Regatta, hosted by the Golden Isles Community Sailing Center, was held in the East Brunswick River at Brunswick Landing Marina in Brunswick, GA. Seven teams competed, including a JV team from Glynn Academy. It was a chilly but sunny day with a steady wind from the northwest at about 10 knots. 14 races were completed with only one protest and no capsizes. Congratulations to Glynn Academy, their varsity team took first place in both A and B divisions and overall! And many thanks to Brunswick Landing Marina, the volunteers from the Golden Isles Sailing Club, and all the sailing team members, parents, and coaches who made the regatta possible.
