Racing was postponed in the morning due to a lack of wind. Racing began at 11:00 with a light Northwest wind. The wind remained Northwest for the remainder of the day at about 5-10 mph. Trapezoid courses were sailed so that A and B divisions could sail at the same time. Thanks to New Orleans Yacht Club for providing the venue and to Community Sailing New Orleans for running the races.
There were 2 protests, one resulting in a team withdrawing before the hearing and one resulting in a DSQ.
