Fleet was postponed by 90 minutes due to inclement weather - lighting and squall conditions. Fleet launched at 11:42am. Initial races were handicapped by variable conditions - shifting direction and gusting heavy 18kt - 23kt. Race 1 saw a retired team (MUDJ #8) due to boom strike. Conditions stabilized after race 2 - Av. 11kt - 13kt. Race 2 saw 2 additional teams retire due to capsize and personal temperature discomfort. Race 3 - Sail #11 Seaholm Mixed redress due to equipment malfunction (tiller.) Race 5 Redress - Sail #16 Troy Smile Happy due to shroud malfunction. Regatta was finalized after 5 races at 1:50pm.
