VISA welcomed 9 teams from 8 schools. Sailors were greeted by sunny skies and warm temps reaching 77 degrees. Seas were flat with winds 6-10 mph SE and gusts up to 13. The fleet was becalmed shortly before 12pm resulting in moving the course up the Lafayette River to the other side of the Hampton Blvd. Bridge. The race committee worked tirelessly adjusting the course for multiple shifts and oscillations throughout the day.
The full round robin resulted in a tie for first place between Norfolk Colligate School and Christchurch School Team 1. A third place tie was between Christchurch School 2 and Norfolk Academy. A best of three resulted in Norfolk Collegiate taking first place, and Christchurch School Team 1 taking second. Christchurch School 2 won a best of three and finished third.
