North East Yacht Club, home of The Tome School and the North East River combined team, hosted the MDISA JV Championships for 16 teams. It was a beautiful sunny 76F day, with good wind ranging 9 to 15 knots all day, gusting up to 19 knots. There was a Bake Sail, and lunch was available from the Club restaurant.
After a brief Coach Meeting discussing eligibility, the Skipper Meeting was held and launch began. First warning was 10:25AM. Races averaged 15-20 mins. Protests were heard on shore in between rotations. Five full rotation sets were completed.
Congratualtions to all the competitors. It was Championship conditions and you rose to the challenge (even if some of you capsized a time or two)! Many thanks to the Race Committee and support boats, as well as the Dockmaster and Protest Committee.
Congratualtions to Leonardtown High School for finishing 1st, and to The Gunston School and Saints Peter & Paul School for thier 2nd and 3rd places, respectively.
This regatta was reviewed by the MDISA League Director and approved as a JV Championship.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
