We had a beautiful, sunny day with no wind until about 1145. Wind built from the south, reaching about 15 knots with gusts over 20 knots at around 1345. Although the sailors were handling the conditions well and having a blast surfing the waves, we stopped racing and sent the boats in due to the small craft advisory and higher winds in the forecast. (An hour later, winds reached over 30 knots!) The race committee was able to run 10 races before stopping for the day.
It was another beautiful, sunny day with no wind until 1330! It finally filled in at about 4-5 kts or lighter (first from the North, then from the south) to allow the race committee to just get off enough races to complete the round robin of 21 races.
