We had a great event. There were 9 teams from Cleveland, Columbus, Sandusky and SE Michigan. The winds started out light 1 to 3 knots and built to 10 to 15 after 12PM. Races took about 35 minutes at the start and then after the wind built, we managed to get them around 10 minutes. We were able to get 8 rounds of racing in. I did receive a text from Geoff Horst (Grosse Point South) that they are really appreciative we held the regatta. It allowed them to sail another tier 3 without traveling across to the Westside of Michigan.
Had 1 protest but withdrew. We can't wait to hold another event.
