Fifteen teams from all over Michigan, and Indiana joined us for a lively day of racing in winds of 14-16mph, sometimes 18, with an early afternoon lull of 10-12, spiced with a sprinkling of gusts to 25. Wind started from the south southwest, clocking to the west after a short morning rain. Storms traveling through Michigan made the forecast look challenging with predicted high winds so we appreciate all the teams, families, and coaches who love the big winds. Thank you to the PRO, Race Committee, Safety and Mark Boats, Coaches, Volunteers on Shore, Families, Home Teams and our Regatta Chair for all the prep and hard work, and time on water during regatta keeping it fun and safe out there. Fantastic regatta, no protests.
