A lovely day’s racing in Lake Forest for the May Madness Tier 3 Regatta. Six races were completed in total, with steady but light breeze for the opening five races before a significant shift to the east for race six. Winds hovered at roughly 6 mph throughout the day, under overcast skies and temperatures that felt noticeably colder than forecast. Despite the conditions, racing was competitive across the fleet, with sailors doing an excellent job adapting to the changing breeze and keeping the racing tight right through the final race.
