The RC sent all teams out on the water to wait for wind. A couple of races were attempted but starts were blown off due to drastic shifts in what little wind there was. After an hour and a half of waiting, racing began in 3-5 knots of ESE wind with some very light spots. As it looked like it might be difficult to get 3 races in each division to make for an official regatta, A division stayed on the water for 3 races. The wind gradually built to 6 - 8 with puffs from one side and then the other. B Division then raced 3 races. With the wind established and dependable we were able to complete 2 more races in each division. Barrington lead the regatta early and held off a challenge from Greens Farm to finish first. Greens Farm finished second, Belmont Hill third, and Sharon fourth, winning the tie breaker with Hingham for the final qualifying berth for the finals.
