The day started with no wind and very warm conditions, very unusual for late September on Spring Lake in West Michigan. First warning was postponed until 11 AM with racing continuous from that time on. Winds started from the South at 4-5 knots and then clocked West at 7 with 10 on occasion. The course was moved after the first two races and never changed after that. Wind was oscillating about 10*, not enough to move the course. Racing was extended beyond the 3 PM deadline after a poll of coaches in order to get in six races for each division. It was a great day with 19 teams and competitors enjoying a swim afterward.
