2018 Norcal 3 Gold

Summary

Saturday, November 3:

Nor Cal #3 started with a short on-the-water postponement as a total of 63 teams in Gold and Silver fleets waited for breeze to fill. Things got going with our first start before noon and proceeded slowly but steadily, and seven races were completed for each fleet. Conditions were warm and pleasant on the Oakland/Alameda Estuary, with light and shifty winds between 4-8 kts and flat water which made for tricky and competitive racing. Some current was present and was a factor in several general recalls for each fleet.

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
