11 NJISA and 7 NYISA-SE teams attended the Fall Intersectional Regatta at SUNY Maritime College. Racing began at 1000. 4 races (W4 and W3s) were completed in both A and B divisions in a light and shifty breeze, demanding several course adjustments. Racing began in a N breeze of 6-8 knots. As racing continued, the wind shifted to NNE, and final race was completed in a dying easterly at 1410hrs. Based on the deteriorating conditions and unfavorable forecast, racing was called at 1430. No protests were filed.
Thank you to all teams for attending.
Thank you to Coach KJ and the SUNY sailing team members for race management.
Respectfully submitted, Alicia Martorella PRO
