After a short postponement, racing was started at 11:30am with two A races in light wind from the SE and overcast skies and off and on rain (left over from Thursday’s offshore bomb cyclone super low). The wind almost died completely during race A2, but enough breeze allowed the first rotation to finish. Oscillations were 20° to 30°
Between A2 and B1 the wind briefly switched S but then resettled in back at SE. B1 started and was sailed in a very light SE breeze with frequent lulls and puffs.
We sailed a 4th B race after the 3:30 deadline as the wind had filled in and people wanted to race. Had this been a qualifying regatta we would not have done this, but with nice weather and everyone on the water we couldn’t resist. The last boat finished by 4:08pm.
