Welcome to Rochester Yacht club where the weather changes every 5 mins. We started the morning out with thunderstorms and flooding rain. Those storms passed and we got started around 10am in light showers and a south westerly breeze. As the went on the rain passed and we saw a few spots of blue sky and sunshine. The races was great lots of action at all mark rounding the fleets were close and the sailing was fast. We were able to get 16 races in on Saturday 8 in each fleet right before a squall came in and the wind picked up. All and all a great day on the water.
Lake Effect and Rainbows to start our Sunday morning. Once again we were on the lake and ready to race but there was a big wind shift and we moved the entire course out. We started the day hoping to get 3 races in each fleet before the big winds came. Racing started with a nice southwesterly around 10-12 slowly building all morning by the end of A fleets set we were starting to see winds 20-22. The B fleet started racing and the sun poked out from behind the clouds for a bit which was nice to see. We were only able to get two in each fleet before the wind peaked at 33kts and racing was called for the day. We finished the regatta with 10 races in each fleet for a total of 20 races. It was great showing off lake racing in big winds. We hope you will come back and race at RYC one day soon! Congrats to Severn, Christchurch and all the other teams that qualified for ACC's this fall!

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
