On Saturday October 16th racing started at 10am with the winds at 12 gusting to 15 knots. 4 races were done in A fleet and 2 in b fleet before boats headed in to the dock for an hour long postponement due to sustained high winds gusting in the mid 30s. After the hour long postponement on shore the sailors headed back out completing 2 more B fleet races and 2 more A fleet races.
Sunday October 17th races started at 9:45 with winds in the 17 to 20 range. Half way through the day racing took a brief pause while we waited for a tugboat and freighter to pass through the race course. As the day went on the winds built to low 20 with gusts in the 30s. At the end of the day both a and b fleets finished with 9 races each.
