South Points #3 Varsity

Summary

Saturday, November 13:

Saturday saw the day start out with the first warning at 10AM with light breeze (6-10kts)out of the south, moving to southwest as a front approached. A Division sailed two sets and B Division sailed a set and half before the fleet had to be secured ashore for a brief rain delay. Once the front passed, B Division went out and sailed races 4B and 5B in very light northwesterly breeze and a bit of current running up the course. A Division then came out and sailed race 5A in the same light northwesterly before heading in just after 4PM. Current factored in a big way for the entire day with the 10 races scored (some of which had OCS teams)requiring 26 start sequences. Sarasota Youth Sailing and the Sarasota Sailing Squadron were excited to host SAISA teams again and look forward to seeing a SAISA event here again in the future.

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
