Racing started at approximately 0930 under cloudy conditions with winds of 13 knots with higher gusts. The chop on Lake Pontchartrain made for challenging conditions. Wet and cold were the words of the day, but all participants survived without any major incidents. Racing ended at approximately 1400 followed by delicious gumbo, macaroni and cheese, and hot chocolate served under the big tent.
