MISSA Great Oaks Qualifier

Saturday, September 24:

Twenty three teams raced in gently breeze. We had short break on shore for lunch then back to the water to complete several more races on Saturday.

There was great competition, and one protest was filed.

Sunday, September 25:

Protest was heard early and then with the rain and cool breeze, the fleet was out to sail again. A total of 20 races where entered, race 6 was never started, so the weekend of 19 races confirmed the top teams to finish.

Several more protest were heard after racing.

Congratulations to New Albany, DCDS, Holland Christian, and West Bloomfield, in the 4 four top finishes.

Thank you to our PRO Jim Allen, his team, and all coaches and parents, both from our home base and those who traveled, for all of their help.

Special Thanks to Judges, Dennis Bartley and John Walton.

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
