NWISA Keelboat Championships

Summary

Saturday, September 24:

A beautiful day of racing on Penn Cove! Five teams raced four San Juan 24s in six races. Wind conditions were perfect, as a steady 6-10 knot westerly persisted all day.

Sunday, September 25:

After a one postponement, four races were completed to finish the second rotation. Congratulations to Ballard High School for qualifying for the ISSA National Keelboat Invitational in St. Petersburg, Florida! Thank you to Gabe Hill, Chad Saxton, South Whidbey Yacht Club-Youth Sailing Organization, Alan Wilson, and Eddie Smith for providing your boats for this event, and to Gabe Hill, Bill Brown, Scott Ellis, and Noah Ellis for helping with race day operations!
