VISA Maury Team Race Regatta

We had a beautiful day on the water with a slight delay in the start with due to little wind. Luckily the wind picked up from the NE at 8-10 with gusts higher. A bit shifty N to NE, but workable. Sunny with temperature in the high 70s to lower 80s.

9 teams from 8 schools competed in the first team race regatta of the fall season. the format was a full round robin, followed by gold and silver rounds, and a final four. Fifty seven out of Fifty-eight races were completed on a W-4 course. Congratulations to Christ Church Team 1 for placing first Christchurch Team 2 for placing second and Norfolk Collegiate Oaks for taking third. Great racing by all teams!
