In one of our favorite events of the year, 25 JV or first year HS teams hit the water in our last Thursday Throwdown event of the season. 8-10 knots of breeze straight down the lake greeted our sailors and afforded us the opportunity to set our course very close to our spectator area so all of our visitors had up close and personal access to the racing! 5 W4 races were run before sunset and when the spray settled, Olentangy won, followed closely by Orange, NA another Olentangy team, another NA team and Oakstone Academy. This marked the 3rd win in a row for our Olentangy team of Ellie McBride and Graham Newbauer, leading them to the overall TT Series win!
We're looking forward to the future of Columbus HS Sailing!
Many thanks to the coaches for their help wrangling the marks all evening and to our parents for their undying support of our program.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
