Bainbridge Team Race

Light winds caused about a 1-hour delay in the first start. Once the wind came up, it held steady in a southerly direction and varied between 5 and 8 knots, allowing approximately 20 races in each of the Gold and Silver fleets to be completed. The sailors and organizers were willing to extend racing beyond the published termination time, but the wind became shifty and light in the late afternoon, bringing racing to an end. Thanks to the Port of Poulsbo for providing an excellent facility from which the Bainbridge High School Sailing Team could host.
