SAISA Brunswick Open Regatta

Summary

Saturday, February 13:

The SAISA Brunswick Open Regatta, hosted by the Golden Isles Community Sailing Center, was held in the East Brunswick River at Brunswick Landing Marina in Brunswick, GA. Twelve teams competed. Weather was beautiful, sunny all day, although chilly at the start. Wind was NNW at 10 knots gusting to 15 for the first few races, then about 10 knots all day until late afternoon when it dropped to 5 for the last couple races. Eight races in each division were completed. Two protests were heard, both dismissed. Congratulations to Glynn Academy, taking first place in both divisions and overall! And many thanks to all of the sailing team members, parents, and coaches, and to the volunteers from the Golden Isles Sailing Club, who made the regatta possible.

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
