NESSA Herreshoff Qualifier - Tabor

Summary

Sunday, April 30:

Sailors were met with cool 10-12kts of breeze out of the east-northwest this morning. As the breeze shifted to the east and then just south of east, the young women on the water were tested by oscillating wind speeds and directions during each individual race.

Special thanks to Coach Trevor Britton and his team of Tabor sailors for running the races today and handling the scoring. Capt. David Bill was instrumental in keeping our boats together and maintaining fluid rotations throughout the day. A huge thank you is also due to Noel Field, Riley Calhoun, and David Grasso for judging this event for us.

Redress was awarded for two breakdowns. Two protests were also filed, one disallowed and one that resulted in a school retiring from the race.

Congratulations to St. George's, Bishop Stang, Tabor, Portsmouth Abbey, Barrington HS, and Barnstable HS for qualifying for the Herreshoff finals to be hosted by Brown University next weekend.

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
