Cape & Islands Fleet Champs

Summary

Wednesday, May 23:

What a day on the Lake. Huge thanks to Mass Maritime for hosting the C&I's championship.

We ended up with 11 of the 13 Cape and Islands teams and were able to get 6 races in each division by 5:45. We had to wait about an hour for the sea breeze to really take hold, but once it did, conditions were ideal with 8-14knots and 10-20 degree shifts. All teams sailed really well, but ultimately, Bishop Stang pulled it off again, congratulations to the team, Jon Pope and Bill Barry....in second place, Dartmouth HS and third was MV.

It's been a great spring, albeit, pretty darn cold up until mid-May. Thanks again to Mass Maritime and to all the teams that made the trip and the regatta a success.

Have a great summer and we'll see you in the fall.

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
