Sailors arrived to a chilly 40 degrees start to the day. After the Skippers Meeting the 13 boats from Charleston Community Sailing were sailed down the Ashley river to the James Island Yacht Club. 4 boats from their fleet were added for the 17 Varsity schools competing. 2 JV boats also raced. Racing started at noon with a dying breeze. By the second B division race it had dropped to 3 knots and the race was abandoned. Luckily a easterly filled in quickly and the RC team reset the course and racing continued. The temperature topped out at 54 and the E. breeze held at 8-12. 5 races in each division were completed and all boats were off the water by 5PM. We would like to thank the Excellent RC team headed by Chip Till. Along with the on-shore group we had 25 workers to support the regatta. Thank you to all!

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
