The race committee did a super job getting 19 races out today in sometimes heavy rain and light wind that came from practically every direction.
The wind was a beautiful, steady 8-10 kt southerly all day, allowing the completion of a full round robin with time for additional championship and consolation rounds. Racing was very close, with several races changing hands multiple times. The top 3 teams were tied going into the championship round, as were the 4th & 5th teams. Because it was not specified in the sailing instructions, previous races were not carried forward and the winners were determined by only the the championship round per RRS D4.3(c), which adjusted the final positions of the top 3 finishers.
