Saturday, October 26:

For the season championship, twenty-two varsity teams from fifteen schools and nineteen Junior Varsity teams from eight schools met on the Lafayette River for their final league competition of the year. Racing resumed after about 3 hours (1:30PM) With winds at ENE 11-13, gusting to 17mph for the remainder of the afternoon.

Varsity accomplished 4 W-4/W-3 races in each of two divisions, and JV completed 7 single division W-4 races.

Capturing first place on the varsity course is Christchurch School, followed by Norfolk Academy in second place, and Norfolk Collegiate School in third place.

On the JV course, Norfolk Academy captured first place, followed by Nansemond-Suffolk Academy in second place and Poquoson High School in third place.

Thanks to our PRO's, Tom Etheridge on the varsity course, and Chris Pfrang on the JV course.

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
