Races began on time at 10 AM with 11 teams competing. Winds of approximately 10 knots were from the NNE and diminishing. Winds shifted to the ESE in the afternoon. Temps were in the 70s under clear skies. Sailors completed 14 races with no protests. Overall, a beautiful day on Lake Pontchartrain. The top half of the fleet will compete in the Gold fleet on Sunday; the bottom half of the fleet in the Silver.
